Sarah Boucher, who graduated in 2012 with a BSc, majoring in Biology, was the lucky ‘OMG! Win a free trip!’ grand prize winner from our 2012 Convocation Contest. She won a $1,500 travel voucher, and used it towards a trip of the Western US. Sarah is currently doing her Master of Teaching in Elementary and Secondary Education at the University of Toronto. McGill joins The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program
As part of the Program, McGill will receive $27 million over the next decade to educate academically talented young people from economically disadvantaged communities in Africa, and prepare them to return to their home countries, successfully transition into the workforce, and lead change in their communities.
