Just in time for Passover and Easter, an exciting new project – headed by two McGill alumni – takes at fresh look at Biblical history.
In Beasts of the Bible, award-winning producer Ric Esther Bienstock, BA’81, and executive producer Simcha Jacobovici, BA’75, team up once again to create a film that debunks common myths and reveals new findings about ancient animals and what their modern cousins might look like.
Written and directed by Graeme Ball, this fascinating documentary assembles historians, scholars, archaeologists, cryptozoologists and herpetologists to guide an investigation into the creatures that may have inspired the authors of Scripture.
The film will premiere on Canada’s VisionTV on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, as part of the channel’s Investigating Easter series.
Bienstock and Jacobovici’s previous projects include Sex Slaves, Impact of Terror, The Exodus Decoded and The Lost Tomb of Jesus. The third season of their popular series The Naked Archaeologist will also kick off on March 22.
