You may not know this, but McGill holds many events throughout the year that are open to retired faculty and staff members.
The McGill Faculty Club, for instance, will host a series of special activities in the coming months. Among them are bi-weekly food festivals, wine and scotch tastings, cooking classes with Executive Chef Pierre Majois and trivia evenings to raise money for Centraide. Full event descriptions and registration instructions will be available soon, so drop by the Faculty Club website regularly for the latest updates.
While you’re at it, don’t forget to check out the McGill Community of Lifelong Learning’s online events calendar for information on their more than 70 upcoming study groups and lectures. With subjects focusing on Mahler’s symphonies, art from across Canada, and understanding power and politics in 19th-century England, the MCLL has events for just about every taste.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Visit the Campus Community Committee’s website for a list of additional services and programs that McGill has to offer to you and your family.
