There’s a program giving hope to people in Ottawa who are homeless, staying in shelters, and facing mental health challenges. It is called Street Soccer, and head coach Daniel Jones, BSc(Kinesiology)’07, is the man in charge of motivating the players.
Jones, who played on the Canadian boys’ under-17 soccer team and four years with the Redmen, became involved with this unique initiative through his work with the Canadian Mental Health Association. Read more >>
