Craig Buntin, a student in the Desautels Faculty of Management’s MBA program, is an Olympian turned entrepreneur.
After retiring from professional figure skating in 2010, he created TeaBean, a coffee and tea company based out of Montreal. Its speciality is white coffee, which is made from lightly baked beans and has a nuttier flavour than the traditional roasted variety.
Motivated by a desire to see his business flourish, he applied to the MBA program and was the first student to ever to be accepted there without an undergraduate degree. His time in the program has already yielded some positive results.
