Brian Fernandes has created a new mobile game for iPad and iPod touch.
He developed the game–called PyroTouch–with Harakoa Inc., a Vancouver-based mobile games developer co-founded by Fernandes and his sister, Jessica.
The game’s premise, as stated somewhat tongue in cheek by the developers, is: “people of the world are unhappy”. Users travel the world exploding fireworks and collecting happiness in each city they visit, aiming to create supreme happiness in the world. The game is available for download on the App Store.
After graduating from McGill, Fernandes completed a Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of British Columbia. He went on to a career in software engineering and web development, which eventually led to the founding of Harakoa Inc.
