Rachelle Lefevre has a starring role in Omertà, a new French language film based on a hugely popular Quebec TV series
The film–a police drama set in Montreal–was loosely adapted from the 1990s series of the same name by writer-director Luc Dionne. The star-studded cast includes Patrick Huard, one of Quebec’s most popular leading men, and René Angélil, singer, music manager and husband of pop superstar Céline Dion.
Lefevre plays an undercover police officer investigating the mafia.
The actress is best known for her role as a vampire villainess Victoria in two of the Twilight films. She completed her McGill degree in between shooting seasons of the Canadian television series Big Wolf on Campus.
