Ken Mandel was recently interviewed by the Wall Street Journal about digital marketing in the Asia-Pacific region.
After travelling around southeast Asia for four years, Mandel settled in Singapore, and has resided there for over a decade.
He currently works for Buddy Media, a software company that utilizes social media to connect brands such as L’Oréal SA and Carnival Cruises to their customers. Mandel heads up the company’s Asia-Pacific operations division.
In his interview with the Wall Street Journal, he argues that knowing one’s customer and producing interesting, shareable content are two of the best strategies for companies wishing to target Asia-Pacific markets.
