The Hon. Karen L. Kear-Jodoin, BA’76, was recently appointed a judge of the Superior Court of Quebec.
Kear-Jodoin has been practicing law for close to three decades. She was admitted to the Quebec and Ontario bars in 1984, after completing degrees in civil and common law at the University of Ottawa. She spent most of her career at Robinson Sheppard Shapiro, a prominent Montreal firm.
In addition to her practice, Kear-Jodoin has been a member of numerous organizations, including the Canadian and Montreal Bar Associations. She has also given her time to such charitable causes as the Montreal Children’s Hospital and Canadian Kidney Foundation.
