It may be summertime, when the textbooks and study notes are packed away, but it doesn’t mean learning necessarily takes a break. Some McGill students are continuing their education through the Faculty of Arts Internships program – 83 lucky students, to be exact. This summer’s group of Internship Awards winners are going to gain valuable work experience in their fields of study around the world, from Guadalajara to Geneva, to Phnom Penh and Nairobi.

No tradition is as emblematic of the university experience as convocation. This spring, over 6,200 students graduated from McGill. Most received their diplomas on tent-covered stages set up at the University’s downtown and Macdonald campuses, marking the end of one journey and the beginning of another. Their pride was palpable.
